Avoid getting a fake Tower pro servo. Check out the following 

1. Tower pro servo adopts imported plug and gold-plated terminal. In general fake servos use domestic plug, no gold-plated plug is easy to oxidize and loose.

2. Tower pro servo adopts 60 cells signal wire, domestic 30 cells and 45 cells signal wires are usually fake servo.

3. The case of Tower pro servos usually have two kinds of mold; new servos use engineering plastic shell with copper cover. The whole case has three copper covers, more durable than old types.

4. Tower pro 995 series servos all have metal gears. The gears are made of steel and copper, the big gear is copper and the small gear is made of steel.

5. The old types use white lube oil, while the new servos use black lube oil with anti-wear additives.
